Sock Sale Awareness

Oh, Black Friday! The day after thanksgiving when stores and shops open up their doors early and have sales on things nobody would buy but people buy just because it's on sale. (And you never know when you might need a cheese-grater storage rack or umbrella-carrying case)

One item that is most definitely on sale is socks. Today we pause for all the socks that are bought and never made into sock monkeys. Some don't even get worn... This is the sad reality of many socks.

Yours reflective,
Yuki

Super Yuki to the Rescue!

Halloween is almost here. It is the only day of the year where you can dress up in a ridiculous costume, run around your neighborhood, knock on peoples' doors and then scream at them for candy!

I am dressing up as a superhero for Halloween! Mo made me a wonderful red cape. This morning I sat on our heater vent and imagined I was flying! Super Yuki to the rescue!

Stanley is in distress. He has no idea what he is dressing up as for Halloween! But I have a brilliant idea! You, the readers, can comment below and tell me what you think Stanley should go as on Halloween!

Oh, and some good news: I'm working on a new tutorial... How to Make Your Monkey a Costume in 3 Easy Steps!

Yours a superhero,
Yuki

Visitors from Vegas

Recently, Mo had to take care of our neighbor's kitty while she went on vacation to Las Vegas! (Mo and I both like her kitty-cat!) When our neighbor returned, she brought back a gift for Mo in return! Can you guess? Is it...

A) a lamp
B) refried beans
or
C) a turtle

Well, you are totally wrong! The answer was:  A bear!

Yep, that's right! Our friend, (whos name we later learned was Sam) is a really cool gal! She knows how to play pretty much every card game imaginable! She taught me how to play Go Fish! :) Then she started playing with Stanley and Sockii... which isn't a good idea unless you want to lose.

Sockii is an expert at Go Fish. No one in this family has ever won against Sockii.

It shocked me when I learned that Sam had won! Sockii walked out of the room in a huff, and Stanley was just laughing the whole time.

You know, I still haven't really learned how to deal with the strangeness of this monkey family.

Your not-so-truly,
Yuki
